Its crazy just how much attention girls pay to thier nails!!!! and how long it takes for a girl to chose a nail varnish!
Nail Porn today launched thier new autumn winter collection influenced by the current trends, firstly I would just say...luciousness!!!!
The designs featured chains, glitter stars bows and patterns to distinctive shades to add a quirky element to that 'freakum' outfit..
Situated at the hairdresses Hari's renowned in South West London - the location was perfect, quirky freindly, and far from the norm- think cafe meets beauty parlour just totally from what you would expect, definately the perfect setting for Nail Porn.
Since it was the first time I'd been there being the over enthusiastic person i am i was overly impressed! They had these mirrors with different features shoesd, skulls u name it, they had it. loved it because it really set the tone for the calibre of nail art...
'glitter, jems, and colour trends...'
Sophy spoke on the new collection saying "My inspiration for my new A/W/Xmas Collection came from some of the fabrics I've seen in this season's designer collections. The Dolce & Gabbana star print for example has been everywhere and the Missoni fabric inspired one was my answer to the Aztec Navaro trend in nail art.
Special effect polishes and metallics are also big in nails this season so I did some glittery party ones too.
I also love the matte topcoat look where it is combined with a glossy finish. The contrast of textures looks so modern and stylish"
my response to that is... this type of nail art is only for the 'flyyy'chicks...(like a right pair *wink*)
The quirky mirror featured definately distinguished the hairdressers from any other around london town, its not just a hairdressers its a beauty parlour come art gallery where art continues to formulate...
The evening was greeted by complimentary cupcakes courtesy of a local cake shop, tasty and fun and being a 'thick chick' i was in my element *chuckles*

The jazz singer and saxaphonist gave a really sweet tranquil touch to the busy ienvironment, i loved this feature to the evening as it gave focus for sophys client whilst they waitied for the magic to commence.
Thought i'd include last seasons designs just to show how sick she is.
Thought I'd also add my mates lucious sex nails lol.. the hearts are tooo cute but the nail shape (may i add is my fave) adds that edge to the cuteness =)
